What are small groups?

Small groups at Church of the Highlands are places where you can connect with people who share your interests, people who are at a similar stage in life or people who have expertise in an area where you would like coaching. There is a wide variety of groups offered. For the active crowd, we have volleyball, hiking, basketball, and painting groups, as well as all sorts of recreational and creative activities. Groups that focus on parenting and marriage provide coaching in important life skills. Those facing all types of abuse, alcoholism, addictions, divorce, depression, and disabilities will find people dealing with similar issues. Children and youth meet in groups that address their needs for fun and friends.Young marrieds can join together in activities that nurture their marriages and provide for lifelong friendships. For seniors, there are groups where the skills they've spent a lifetime developing are used to train and serve others.

The small groups offered reflect the people at Church of the Highlands and continue to change and develop with the interests and needs of the people.

What are the groups about?

Our groups are as varied as we are; group leaders use their gifts and passions to create a group that allows others to join with them in serving God. Whatever your age or interest—Bible study, cooking, prayer, missions, running, you name it—we've got a group that's just right for you, and they meet all over the city.
