Strategic Engagement Project Manager

At Highlands, we are devoted to seeing our members and attendees connected in a life-giving relationship with Jesus and planted and thriving in the local church. Our hope is that everyone experiences a fresh, enjoyable connection to God and a community of people.

The purpose of the Project Manager Provide is to provide execution oversight for Strategic Engagement initiatives by building clear timelines, ensuring accountability, and driving projects from concept to completion. This role ensures ideas move beyond discussion into measurable action and results.

Experience and Knowledge Required

• A minimum of one year of experience in project management or administrative work
• Experience managing multi-department or cross-functional initiatives
• Strong proficiency in project management software and workflow systems (Monday.com, M365 Suite)
• Ability to manage budgets, timelines, and deliverables simultaneously
• Strong understanding of organizational communication and execution strategy

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

• Build and manage detailed project timelines from kickoff through completion
• Define scope, milestones, deliverables, and ownership for all assigned initiatives
• Facilitate cross-functional collaboration between departments
• Track progress on projects and timelines
• Identify risks, anticipate bottlenecks, and implement proactive solutions
• Provide regular status updates and reporting to leadership
• Ensure documentation, workflows, and communication plans are clearly organized
• Support the Operations Director in maintaining departmental execution excellence
• Drive clarity following meetings by documenting decisions, next steps, and ownership
