Motion Graphics Designer
Our purpose at Church of the Highlands is to reach people with the life-giving message of Jesus that they might become fully devoted followers of Christ. Church of the Highlands has an immediate, full-time opening for a Motion Graphics Designer in our Creative Department. The Motion Graphics Designer will create motion graphics and video content for services, events, conferences, and web. The role involves collaborating with other ministries, as well as working closely with team members, Art Directors, and Creative Directors to ensure cohesive, impactful visuals across all platforms.
Experience and Knowledge Required:
- Extensive knowledge and experience with Adobe Creative Suite (primarily After Effects).
- Task-oriented personality.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Organized and an eye for detail.
- Strong eye for design.
- Skilled in composition, color, and typography.
- Knowledge and experience in 3D programs such as Maxon Cinema 4D and/or Blender.
- Ability to write scripts with a solid understanding of story structure and pacing.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
- Motion graphics design for Church of the Highlands services, promotions, and events.
- Plan concepts by studying project information, materials, and inspiration.
- Plan service video jumpback content by studying planned songs and matching content to feel and tempo of music.
- Produce motion graphics for announcement videos.
- Produce motion graphics to support videos.
- Create video openers for weekend services and conferences.
- Other duties as assigned.
