Accountant
Church of the Highlands is looking for a ministry-focused, Christ-centered Accountant to join the Accounting Team at the Central Offices located at the Grandview Campus. Highlands is passionate about the Great Commission and dedicated to helping build the local church. If you are called to full-time ministry and meet the requirements below, we want to hear from you.
Experience and Knowledge Required:
- A follower of Jesus Christ.
- An active member of Church of the Highlands.
- Called to work in full-time ministry.
- Accounting/Finance Degree.
- A minimum of two consecutive years of experience in daily accounting functions.
- Experience in problem solving.
- Able to handle multiple projects effectively.
- Attention to detail and time management.
- Excellent verbal and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Word and Excel.
Primary responsibilities include:
- Perform daily accounting functions.
- Reconcile bank account statements.
- Reconcile campus credit card statements.
- Review check requests, purchase requests, and other accounting paperwork for accuracy.
- Process and record contributions of various types.
- Assist with the offering collection process at various campuses.
- Produce support to all campuses/departments for any accounting related tasks.
