Project Manager (Grandview Campus)
The Project Manager provides support to the technical, systemic, and organizational processes of the web and software technology infrastructure for Church of the Highlands, ("Highlands"). The Project Manager will keep projects progressing to completion before the deadline by facilitating content and asset delivery and managing communication with stakeholders. In addition, the Project Manager will be responsible for responding to incoming communication to the Digital team from outside sources, which includes other departments, vendors, and members of the church.
Experience and Knowledge Required:
- Minimum of two years of project management experience.
- Experience in managing technical projects, especially those related to web, mobile and software development.
- Experience working with teams of designers, developers, and other technical specialists.
- Experience in the process of quality assurance in developing technologies.
- Knowledge and/or practical understanding of the product development cycle and development methodologies, such as Scrum.
- Proficient skills in project management software and Microsoft Office.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for managing development projects from inception to completion to include building timelines, coordinating content and communication flow for projects.
- Work with Digital team to achieve goals set forth by Digital Director and Executive Staff.
- Oversee the work of third-party developers, contractors and other remote teammates.
- Oversee maintenance of existing legacy applications, modules and other source code related to the church.
- Timely response to incoming questions, suggestions and project requests from church members as well as other teammates.
This full-time position is located at our central offices at the Grandview Campus. This is not a remote position.
